Registration Dates!

Here are the registration dates for the Spring Semester:

January 4, 2010

January 5, 2010

January 25, 2010

February 22, 2010

We hope to see you there! If you do not come on one of these dates, you will not be able to come to class for the Spring Semester.

Please come at 9:00am or as early as possible to be certain that there is time for you to take a test and fill out your paperwork.

You must be able to commit to come to at least 4 out of 5 classes each week. We want you to learn a lot of English in our classes. This is only possible if you come to class everyday and practice English both inside and outside of class.

Ask about the Crossroads Cafe, which is a new program for levels 4, 5, and 6 beginning in January!

Update about Online Classes

I now have more information about the online program. I have to make a correction on the information I listed before. The online class will be in addition to your current class, instead of replacing that class. You still need to come to class regularly to qualify for the Crossroads program. You will bring home a video to watch every week and do work for that video. Then, once a week, a teacher will take you out of class for a one-on-one 15 minute session to review your answers to the video worksheets, and to allow you to ask the teacher questions about the video. This is a great way to practice your English outside of class. I will write more as soon as I know the start date for this program.

Do you like music?

For those of you who like music, click on the links to the right of this message.

Listening to music in English again and again is a great way to learn pronunciation, build fluency and understanding, and improve your tone and rhythm in English. The more time you spend doing this, the better your English will get!

We have music for different levels of English to help you practice! These songs are subtitled to help you. Students and teachers, if there is a song that you want to see on this website, write a comment, and I will try to find it for you! Keep checking back! There is more to come...
